Return Materials Authorizations

 


Dear Customer,

The following instructions need to be followed in order to ensure that the proper information is communicated to Degree Controls, Inc. Service Department. This will ensure that your RMA units are properly routed and handled in an expeditious manner. Please provide as much information as possible and feel free to contact your DegreeC representative for any assistance you require. Upon completion of the RMA form, Degree Controls, Inc. personnel will issue an RMA number to consign to the returned parts. The RMA number can only be used for a single occurrence. Any future RMA’s will require a separate RMA number. If a failure analysis is required a FAR number will also be assigned and a FAR form, #053, will be initiated upon receipt of the product.

  1. Required fields to be filled out on RMA Form
    • Customer name
    • Customer contact name
    • Customer phone number
    • Customer fax number Customer email address
    • Customer PO number to return parts against: for product evaluations and / or repairs minimum charge applies to product evaluations required for non-warranted products only
    • Return address
    • Billing address
    • Degree Controls, Inc. part number and revision
    • Quantity being returned
    • Serial Numbers for each part being returned
    • Description or symptom of failure
    • Method of return shipment
  2. Degree C will respond by the next business day with an RMA number to return the parts against; this can be expedited in a situation of urgent need.
  3. All paper work, packing slips, or process documents must refer to the RMA number.
  4. All packages must have the RMA number and quantity clearly written on it.
  5. Product must be returned in suitable packaging, please contact Degree C for assistance if needed to define proper packaging. Damaged product may be rejected at receiving and returned at customer expense.
  6. No product will be accepted without an RMA number.
  7. No product will be processed without a Purchase Order: a no-cost PO for warranty products for tracking purposes or for non-warranty repair costs if required.
  8. Please allow 4-6 weeks for product returns unless otherwise specified. Notification of actual ship date will be via email.
